

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER
Overview
The Associate Producer will work closely with a Lead or Senior Producer in either a supporting role on a larger project, or as the lead on their own smaller project within PlaySide Studios.
The Associate Producer will work with all members of the development team to facilitate communication, solve problems and remove anything getting in the way of other disciplines being able to work.
They will focus on people and task management, acting as leaders and providing energy and motivation to aid the team in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities

Work with project leads to coordinate projects from concept to ship and/or oversee the delivery of updates on existing titles.

Facilitate communication and accountability within teams and across disciplines.

Identify, communicate and aid in the removal of roadblocks and project risks.

Assist in developing project schedules, roadmaps and update plans.

Ensure features and major tasks are prioritized with stakeholders, and scoped and scheduled within the team.

Ability to report on current project or milestone status, including blockers and risks.

Participate in or lead production Ceremonies/Meetings.

Proactively disseminate current and future priorities with internal partners such as QA, Audio, Animation and Marketing.

Assist in the Release Management processes, including the facilitation of build delivery and upload to various release platforms (i.e. Steam, Appstore and Google Play Store).

Collate and Track feedback from Players, Leads, Stakeholders and other internal departments.

Strong follow through and the desire to “make things happen”.

Assist in keeping the team motivated, mobilized and focused on goals, milestones and quality.
What You Bring To The Role
-
Experience in the use of Jira, Hansoft, Microsoft Project or other similar project management software (i.e. Trello, Monday etc).

Experience in delivery of software projects to stakeholders.

Experience working in multidisciplinary collaborative environments.

Proficient project and people management skills.

Strong team building abilities.
-
Strong follow through and the desire to “make things happen”.

Solid understanding of the game development process for AAA, Indie or Mobile titles.
