

BUILD & TOOLS ENGINEER
Overview
We are looking for a Build and Tools Engineer to join our talented team in developing games for PC, Console, Mobile and XR. You will help bring our games to the next level by joining a team that holds the player’s experience at the core of its mission.

Key Responsibilities

Develop tools and pipelines that will improve the productivity and autonomy of the production team.

Design, implement, debug, optimize and iterate on new and existing engine systems and tools, in direct collaboration with end users (designers, artists, animators…)

Analyse existing functions in the engine and see how they could be enhanced to fulfill the intentions of the project

Gather engine and game editor technical knowledge to provide technical support/advice to the teams and solve production problems.

Identify the needs of the production team and collect their feedback

Ability to work independently on standalone tasks

Participate in the design and code review process

Document the work for the purpose of sharing knowledge and enabling users to use the new systems and functionalities.

Building tools within the Unity Environment
-
Building tools and in-depth supporting documentation for external games and teams to use

Work closely with teammates to design and build highly scalable, available, and reliable CI/CD processes using proven practices.

Help others automate build and artifact delivery for multiple platforms.

Help make improvements to the team’s ability to develop and test the game, especially on consoles.

Gather metrics and implement reporting tools to aid the development of the games.
What You Bring To The Role
-
Experience working with at least one build system (eg. Quickbuild, Teamcity, Jenkins);

Proficiency in C# programming language or one of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, Shell, Batch scripting;

Strong knowledge of a source control system (eg. Perforce, Git);

Good knowledge of Windows & Apple environment (eg. registries, file system, networking);

Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs;

Basic knowledge of database management systems (eg. MySQL);
-
Passion for games;
-
Autonomous and proactive attitude;
-
A drive to learn and apply new concepts, principles and solutions.
