As a Software Engineer, you will be working with outsource game studios representing PlaySide Studios and upholding our coding standards. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the game development team to build and maintain game engines for various platforms, including PC and mobile devices.

Work closely with the outsource game development team to implement, integrate and maintain game engines for different platforms.

• Develop and maintain tools and systems for game development, including debugging and performance optimization.

• Provide timely and clear feedback to our outsource studios

• Setup and potentially automate the deployment of the project to all target platforms

• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality and efficient code.

• Collaborate with other teams, such as artists and designers, to provide technical support and resolve issues.

• Keep up to date with new technologies and software development practices to improve workflow efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development or a related field.

• Proficient in Unity, C# and C++.

• Released 1+ Game title within a large team previously

• Solid understanding of CI/CD

• Strong commitment to TDD

• Experience in all parts of a software life cycle

• Practical understanding of math used in gameplay

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Passion for video games and experience in the gaming industry.

• Experience working with Unreal and Jenkins would be a plus.

• Experience within a priority game engine
