User Acquisition and Monetisation Director

 

Playside is currently growing and scaling our internal IP teams. We are looking for a User Acquisition and Monetisation Director who is passionate about growing, leading and scaling our UA efforts worldwide. You will come up with new ad concepts, work with our video and graphics teams to deliver them, assess and optimise performance, and also improve our monetisation strategies.

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Plan, execute, analyse user acquisition campaigns across performance UA channels, and optimise based on ROAS & LTV.

  • Manage allocated marketing and ensure maximum efficiency of marketing spend purely based on ROI

  • Develop new insights and process improvements for internal user acquisition management, analysis, and reporting

  • Help grow and lead our internal UA and Monetisation team. 

  • Lead and manage all external user acquisition partners relationships and communications

  • Work alongside the team to help improve user LTV, via ad monetisation improvements, waterfall optimisation etc.

  • Work with our analytics team and independently use analytical and modelling skills to optimise marketing activities.

  • Work alongside our external partners to create new and exciting video and static creatives.

  • Ensure that our title’s tracking and attribution is working and accurate.

  •   Monitor, optimise and report performance of campaigns on an ongoing basis.

  • Daily, weekly and quarterly budget forecasting and reporting of results to executive members of the studio.

 

 

Skills

 

 

  • Experience in Mobile User Acquisition is a prerequisite. (preferably gaming).

  • At least +5 years working in the mobile marketing space.

  • Experience working with over $100k+ weekly budgets across multiple channels.

  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as help grow and lead the user acquisition team.

  • Examples of Ad monetisation and IAP improvements and waterfall management.

  • Ability to help create high performing ad creatives across all channels.

  • Experience running campaigns with ironSource, Facebook, Applovin, UAC and more.

  • Strong passion for game, mobile apps, and advertising​

 

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge and experience in Hyper Casual and Casual

  • Strong SQL skills.

  • Experience presenting to executives.
