The designer will be responsible for the overall layout, flow and functional design of a given environment. This will include the technical implementation and engineering component. The designer will need to have a solid understanding of UX, gameplay and core loop principles.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Experience with any programming language and demonstrable ability to prototype game mechanics in any known game engine (Unreal, Gamemaker, Unity, etc). Examples of gameplay design and engineering from any other body of work.

  • The candidate should also have a strong understanding of artistic principles in 3D, and a solid understanding of virtual reality.

  • Ability to work in virtual reality for extended periods of time.

  • Proven ability to handle the basics of gameplay math & logic (test listed below).

Bonus Points!

  • Multiplayer experience in design or programming.

  • Experience working with small teams.
