As the Production Director, you will be the guiding force behind the production department, overseeing the successful execution of projects and ensuring our team achieves greatness. Your mission is to cultivate a harmonious and efficient production environment with 10 - 20 games at any one time.  Leading our teams with unwavering determination and fostering a culture of excellence. From ideation to completion, you will orchestrate the journey, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring our visions to life.

• Direct and inspire our production teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop, own and execute the overall production strategy, aligning it with the studio's goals and business objectives.

• Work directly with the Director of Development Operations and partner with department Directors to ensure effective resourcing, planning, and execution of a wide portfolio of games.

• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, promoting effective communication and problem-solving across teams.

• Manage a growing department of over 20 producers, ensuring growth, culture and wellbeing, and the strive for excellence.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations for producers, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth and development.

• Ensure the successful execution of game development projects, from concept to launch, by managing and monitoring progress, milestones, and deliverables.

• Set clear goals and expectations for team members, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all levels of production.

• Spearhead project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure seamless execution.

• Oversee the development of comprehensive project plans, ensuring collaboration between. with producers, designers, artists, and engineers to ensure we continue to deliver high quality games in a predictable and efficient manner.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, encouraging a shared vision and commitment to excellence.

• Drive the adoption of best practices and process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality. 

• Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, nurturing talent and fostering growth within the production team.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, seeking opportunities to elevate our production processes and methodologies.

• Proven experience as a Production Director or similar leadership role in the game development industry.

• A strong track record of successfully leading and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

• Have experience rolling out large and/or complex changes within a business.

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the skill to motivate and inspire others. 

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and building strong relationships.

• Passion for game development and a deep understanding of industry dynamics and trends.

• Practical experience in Agile project management methodologies is a must. Experience with Hansoft is advantageous.
