PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER

PlaySide Studios are seeking a kick-ass Product Marketing Manager (Publishing & Go-To-Market) to
join our team. As Product Marketing Manager (Publishing & Go-To-Market), you will be lead and be primarily responsible for delivering world class global marketing and communications planning across PlaySide brands.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will have a proven track record of developing, and managing best-in-class marketing and communications strategy and execution, and working collaboratively and cross functionally within a broader marketing and communications team environment, to drive brand success and deliver on business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and own the product marketing plan for PlaySide games, drive product positioning, target

  • market analysis, competitive analysis, creative development and production, consumer event

  • strategy, media planning, and the go-to-market strategy to deliver high-value marketing initiative that connect and resonate with global audiences

  • Identify areas of market opportunity across all PlaySide and key partner franchises, encompassing both new release and live services, that will drive player and revenue growth.

  • Provide effective market insight and knowledge to ensure due consideration within both game and global marketing planning

  • Drive creative development and distribution of marketing assets, including in-game, social, ap stores, video content, and other marketing collateral

  • Identify and manage international vendors to create culturally and contextually relevant content and campaigns, catered for both global audiences and key focus markets

  • Co-ordinate and evangelise key beat plans with wider internal and external stakeholders, working with relevant cross-functional teams

  • Foster a close working partnership with the communications, community, and other PlaySide business divisions to drive world class, cross-functional collaboration, and successful multi-channel product marketing communications

  • Management of marketing budgets to deliver high-value, KPI driven marketing campaigns

  • Identify key talent and influencers within relevant gaming spaces, foster strong relationships with partners in this space, and deliver successful campaigns within these environments

  • Explore opportunities for relevant sponsorship integration and work directly with the broader marketing & communications team to drive successful campaigns in this space

  • Execute performance marketing initiatives to drive product adoption and usage rates by creating a measurement framework to enable ROI positive outcomes

  • Deliver strategic oversight and delivery of successful content on owned social channels, and provide detailed reporting on performance on a regular basis to relevant stakeholders

  • Own accountability for achieving business and marketing objectives, and showcase effective prioritising of workflows and projects

  • Manage internal and external relationships with game development, art, design, communications, and influencer teams and agencies, write creative briefs, and oversee asset production with internal and agency partners

  • Research and monitor competitive landscape, with a focus on gaming, (e)sports, media & entertainment news, and other industry leaders, and share learnings, insights and best practices with the broader Marketing & Communications team, and key internal stakeholders on a regular basis

What You Bring To The Role

  • 5+ years of consumer or digital marketing experience

  • Experience in games marketing, product marketing, creative, digital content strategy

  • A deep understanding of YouTube & Twitch

  • Analytic and data driven

  • Strong PowerPoint and Google Slides experience

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Strong team player, with strong verbal and communication skills

  • Self-starter and motivated to work within a fast-paced environment

  • Building programs that map to business goals, demonstrate audience insights and showcase
    creative excellence

  • Experience managing agencies and contractors, ensuring quality of output and clarity of roles and responsibilities

  • Experience building relationships and managing talent and influences, and coordinating effective influencer strategy and campaigns
