SENIOR MOTION GRAPHICS ARTIST

Overview

We are looking for a super switched-on Senior Motion Graphics Artist to join our growing Marketing Art Team. Together with your colleagues, lead and UA managers, you’ll create a diverse range of world-class video content for our various titles that span the gamut from branded pieces all the way to traditional UA collateral.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality video assets for our various marketing campaigns

  • Iterate and adapt top-performing creatives when required

  • Ability to guide and mentor more junior motion graphics artists 

  • Participate in creative analyses, concept and brainstorming meetings for the script as required by the narrative team;

  • Contribute ideas, collaborate and communicate openly with all members of the team;

  • Ensure that all artwork meets the technical and creative requirements of the brief as directed by the brief and Lead

  • Produce various animated assets for you and your team to utilise in other projects

  • Provide and support any background, object or VFX elements, and scene compiling for narrative and animation pipeline.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Highly proficient Motion Graphics Artist, with a high level of quality asset creation, illustration and motion design

  • A keen eye for visual storytelling and creative appeal

  • Strong understanding of cinematography 

  • Good eye for Composition, with an understanding of shot flow.

  • Competent in character design and movement animation

  • A clear idea of an animation production pipeline and requirements

  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to work to deadlines;

  • Ability to express, through drawing, Motion and its relation to the script and character

  • Strong understanding of the 12 principles of animation and motion design.

Bonus Points!

  • Exposure to Unity is advantageous

  • Experience or familiarity with Spine 2D

  • Base level 3d experience would be advantageous 

  • Base level understanding of UI design
