WEB3 PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER

PlaySide Studios are seeking a kick-ass Product Marketing Manager (Web3) to join our team. 

As Product Marketing Manager (Web3), you will be lead and be primarily responsible for delivering world class global marketing and communications planning across PlaySide’s Web3 projects.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, and working directly with the Web3 General Manager and business division, you will have a proven track record of developing, and managing best-in-class marketing and communications strategy and execution, and working collaboratively and cross functionally within a broader marketing and communications team environment, to drive brand success and deliver on business objectives, with a key focus on social strategy and influencer campaign planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own Web3 marketing and communications strategy and execution, with a key focus on social strategy, to deliver high-value marketing initiatives that connect and resonate with global audiences in the Web3 space, and that drive the success of PlaySide’s Web3 projects

  • Identify areas of Web3 market opportunity across for relevant PlaySide projects

  • Provide effective market insight and knowledge to ensure due consideration within both Web3 product development and global marketing planning

  • Deliver strategic oversight and delivery of successful content on owned social channels, and provide detailed reporting on performance on a regular basis to relevant stakeholders

  • Drive creative development and distribution of marketing and communications assets for the Web3 division, including social, video content, and other marketing collateral

  • Identify and manage international vendors to create culturally and contextually relevant content and campaigns, catered specifically to Web3 audiences

  • Co-ordinate and evangelise key marketing and communications beats and plans with wider internal and external stakeholders, working with relevant cross-functional teams

  • Foster a close working partnership with the communications, community, and other PlaySide business divisions to drive world class, cross-functional collaboration, and successful multi-channel product marketing communications

  • Management of marketing budgets to deliver high-value, KPI driven marketing campaigns

  • Identify key talent and influencers within relevant Web3 and gaming spaces, foster strong relationships with partners in these spaces, and deliver successful campaigns within these environments

  • Explore opportunities for relevant sponsorship integration and work directly with the broader marketing & communications team to drive successful campaigns in this space

  • Execute performance marketing initiatives to drive product adoption and usage rates by creating a measurement framework to enable ROI positive outcomes

  • Own accountability for achieving business and marketing objectives, and showcase effective prioritising of workflows and projects

  • Manage internal and external relationships with development, art, design, communications, and influencer teams and agencies, write creative briefs, and oversee asset production with internal and agency partners

  • Research and monitor competitive landscape, with a focus on Web3 and gaming, and share learnings, insights and best practices with the broader Marketing & Communications and Web3 teams, and key internal stakeholders on a regular basis

What You Bring To The Role

  • 5+ years of digital marketing or social media management experience

  • Experience in games marketing, or digital content strategy

  • A deep understanding of Twitter and Discord, and growth strategies for these channels

  • Analytic and data driven

  • Strong PowerPoint and Google Slides experience

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Strong team player, with strong verbal and communication skills

  • Self-starter and motivated to work within a fast-paced environment

  • Building programs that map to business goals, demonstrate audience insights and showcase creative excellence

  • Experience managing agencies and contractors, ensuring quality of output and clarity of roles and responsibilities

  • Experience building relationships and managing talent and influences, and coordinating effective influencer strategy and campaigns

  • Proven ability not only to deliver strategic direction for, but to lead the hands on execution and implementation of successful social and influencer campaigns, to deliver on business objectives

  • Experience in driving strategy, and managing teams and agency partners, with a global marketing and communications remit
